A replica of an Sd.Kfz.11/4 3-ton half-track ammunition vehicle - that supported units equipped with 150mm Nebelwerfer 41 rocket launchers - employed by the Wehrmacht's 4th Panzer Division on the Eastern Front in 1943, this 1/72 scale, die cast Hobby Master model features textured surfaces; a finely detailed driver's compartment with a steering wheel, gear shifter, and a glazed windshield (that even includes tiny wipers!); an open bed with benches and a spare tire; realistically treaded tires and intricate suspension and tracks; a two-tone camouflage scheme; and more. 3" long; includes a removable display base with a clear protective cover. Hobby Master utilized a plastic body that allows for accurate replication of details, and a diecast metal chassis that provides weight and feel. The body features a crystal clear windshield with separately applied headlamps up front and fine scale rivet details at the rear. With both the front and rear rag-tops in the down configuration, a clear view of the half-track's interior is provided, including a pad-printed instrument panel, a complete set of driver's controls, and simulated front and rear leather covered bench seats. The model's simulated torsion-bar suspension of its six interlaced road wheels is visible on the underside.
